2009 Vespa S 150 (Canada/USA/Europe)

The style of the Vespa S
Sporty, dynamic and young, the Vespa S stands out for its clean, essential and minimalist lines in the new 150 cc version too. The handlebar fairing houses a rectangular headlight. This is a clear reference to the amazing 50 Special that was the style icon of teenagers throughout the fabulous 1970s. The mudguard is minimised to draw attention to the suspension and features a chrome trim for an even sleeker look. The mudguard's limited dimensions emphasise the finish of the light alloy front wheel, a tribute to the performance of the Vespa S and its high-tech design. Even the seat reminds you of typical 70's styling. The 'touring' seat that comes as standard on the 150 provides more room and comfort for rider and passenger. Hardened 'sportsters' can nevertheless still fit an (optional) 'sport' solo seat with the inimitable Vespa banana shape. Both seats are upholstered in new materials and decorated with a light trim to emphasise their outlines.
